    • Chemical and physical properties of soil and water (flame photometry, spectrophotometry, organic carbon, ion chromatography, alkalinity, hardness, particle size analyser, radiometry and actinometry)
    • Microbiological and molecular methods (fecal coliforms, aerobic spores, MS2, T4, T7 bacteriophage, Mycobacterium, Giardia, Cryptosporodium and other culturable bacteria; DNA extractions, ESS assay, PCR, gel electrophoresis, SDS-PAGE, DGGE, sequencing and cloning)
    • Other: UV exposures, chlorine disinfection, flow cytometer, atomic force microscopy.
